It is a great honour to be awarded the 2022/23 Regional & National Marshalls Award for Engagement. Most creative use of Marshalls product
This is called the “Cut Flower Garden” and it is designed around a central vase created out of slate. Working closely with the client, we assisted with the design and layout of the project. The colours of the flowers are planted to replicate a rainbow colour wheel. The Fairstone paving in Autumn Bronze harmonises beautifully with the Borders countryside and drystone walling. A great deal of time and care was taken over the cutting of the Fairstone Harena to create the perfect circles, this involved mitring the paving to exact measurements. Tegula Drivesett Harvest was used to provide the decorative edging to all the paths. Near Lauder, Scottish Borders
2018: Regional Award Winner
Best use of new Marshalls product
Designed by Graeme Steel to replace old gravel, sleepers and concrete slabs and create an outdoor living space for the enjoyment of the clients. We used Fairstone Riven Harena Golden Sand including a new circle feature. Tegula Drivesett Harvest was used for detailing. Products were selected to compliment the sandstone house. Extensive detailed cutting of the sandstone was involved around the new circle feature, the curved edges and the manhole covers. Namgrass artificial lawn installed to create low maintenance grass areas. Morningside Grove, Edinburgh
2016: Regional Award Winner

Another award-winning design by Graeme Steel. A split level patio installation with walling and steps. A fantastic contemporary look. Sawn Fairstone walling golden sand was used for step risers and extra features. Turfing and drainage also included. Clovenfords, Galashiels, Scottish Borders

Thank you again for the superb craftsmanship that has transformed our property and made it a lot easier for us to access the house without the bumpy potholed driveway. I would have no hesitation in recommending Stow Construction to anyone, and in fact have already given out some of your business cards.
